Fair value assessment of all property in the municipality

The Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency (SAMA) determines the fair value assessment of all property in the municipality. SAMA conducts revaluations every 4 years. The four-year cycle is determined by provincial government regulations. The 2025 revaluation will see assessed values updated to reflect a new base date of January 1, 2023. The next revaluation will be in 2029.

  1. Fair value – Residential = $450,000
    Taxable of 80% = $360,000
    RM 2021 Mill Rate = 5.27 mills
    Property Taxes = $1,897.20
  2. Fair Value – Commercial = $850,000
    Taxable of 85% = $722,500
    RM 2021 Mill Rate = 5.27
    RM Commercial Mill Rate Factor = 1.765
    Property Taxes = $6,720.37
