Strychnine Stewardship Program

Through Saskatchewan’s Strychnine Stewardship Program, eligible producers can take the following steps to access strychnine for responsible control of Richardson’s ground
squirrels.

• Complete online training

• Submit a mandatory Treatment Plan and Declaration Form

• Purchase through your RM

• Apply during recommended windows (March 1 to June 15 and July 15 to September
