Building a Stronger Foundation: $132,319.60 Federal Grant Approved for Dodsland Sports Centre
The Village of Dodsland is excited to announce a significant milestone in our arena rebuild journey. We have officially been approved for $132,319.60 in funding through the Canada Community-Building Fund (CCBF).
This federal investment, administered by the Government of Saskatchewan, is a vital contribution to the “bones” of our new 34,000-square-foot facility. These funds are specifically earmarked for the essential infrastructure and safety systems that will ensure our new home is built to last for the next 40 years and beyond.
“This grant represents more than just a number; it’s a partnership that helps bridge the gap toward our $12-million goal,” says the Rebuild Committee. “We are grateful to the Government of Canada for recognizing the importance of this project to the families and athletes of West Central Saskatchewan.”
As we approach our January 21st fundraising deadline, this injection of support brings our current secured total to over $5.28 Million.

The Village of Dodsland and the RM of Winslow #319 are proud to acknowledge the Government of Canada and the Province of Saskatchewan for the grant.
